You can get to it by leaving the main road in the direction of Kranjska Gora at the bridge over the Sava River at the first exit for Mojstrana, then following the road to the small church.
Legend has it that the church was built on the site where the brothers St Cyril and Methodius spent the night in 868, when they were carrying the relics of Pope Clement I to Rome. St Cyril found in the Crimea in 860.
It is a subsidiary church, first mentioned in 1689, and belongs to the parish of Dovje. Originally, a Romanesque chapel of oval shape with a rather low vault stood on the site. In the Baroque period, the church was slightly extended, two windows were added to the west wall and a bell tower was built. The last reconstruction of the church took place in the 19th century, when the windows in the nave were enlarged. The furnishings are wooden, and the main altar of St Clement and the side altars of St Valentine and St Andrew date back to the 19th century. Other special features include the Stations of the Cross with inscriptions under the frames, a small fresco behind the main altar dating back to 1640, and the lavishly painted 14th-century bell tower and bell.
